It is impossible to turn into virtues at once, those insane addictions you have been cultivating for hundreds of years.

They will be transformed by long and patient practice of self-control, spiritual development, study and practice of edifying thoughts and deed. As teaches us the Gospel codified by noble Kardec, to be good spiritualist, "a negative virtue" is not enough to be a good spiritualist, but a true virtue."
